About ATA
Built around people work and business growth
Founded in 2018, ATA Training Academy grew from a commitment to addressing graduate unemployment, with a particular concern for the barriers facing unemployed female graduates.
Our experience in programme implementation has reinforced a central understanding: access to a workplace and readiness to contribute within that workplace must develop together.
A learner needs to understand expectations, build professional habits, receive guidance and have opportunities to apply what they know. An employer needs clear responsibilities, a workable supervision structure and a way to connect learning with the needs of the business. ATA brings these perspectives together.
Our purpose
To strengthen the connection between education, workplace capability and meaningful economic participation.
Our approach
We begin with the realities of the learner, the employer and the programme. We then connect preparation, learning, practical application and implementation support in a way that responds to those realities.
Our work includes learner recruitment, internship and placement management, employer engagement, workplace readiness, training coordination and programme reporting. Our enterprise-development offering supports emerging entrepreneurs and smaller businesses through training, coaching and practical development support.
Our methodologies
The ATA Employability Method™ develops workplace capability through 15 skills across three stages. Individuals can purchase a skill, a stage or the complete Method, while organisations can arrange group learning.
G•R•O•W® guides ATA’s enterprise-development approach through assessment and clarity, mindset and vision, strategy and systems, and execution and market entry.

Our leadership
ATA is led by Adv. Miliswa Mokoteli, whose background spans law, human resources, institutional leadership, teaching and programme implementation. Her experience informs ATA’s emphasis on professional conduct, clear expectations, practical learning and organizational accountability. She is the developer of the ATA Employability Method™ and the G•R•O•W® Reinvention Framework.

Our experience and growth
Recent business growth includes retaining an existing 15-learner placement contract while securing a further 25-learner contract, representing 40 learners across those two contracts, and adding FASSET programme-management work. Alongside this growth, ATA has developed the Employability Method as proprietary learning content and digitized its delivery.
