1. Supplier and scope
This policy explains how Atamelang Training Academy (Pty) Ltd, trading as ATA Training Academy (ATA), supplies purchases made through www.atatrainingacademy.co.za. Our registration number is 2018/463212/07. Our physical address is 33 Brandt Street, Andrew Gouws Building, Kroonstad, 9500. Contact us at admin@atatrainingacademy.co.za or (065) 752-9651.
Read this policy together with ATA’s Website Terms and Conditions, Privacy and POPIA Policy, and Returns, Refunds and Cancellations Policy. Separately contracted organisational services are delivered according to the applicable agreement.
2. What the shop provides
The ATA Employability Method is available as an individual skill, a stage containing five skills, or the complete Method containing 15 skills. The three stages are Get Ready for Work, Thrive at Work, and Grow Your Career. Each product page identifies the skills included.
Learning is self-paced and delivered online through TalentLMS. No physical delivery is included. Live sessions, individual coaching or other services are included only if expressly stated on the selected product page. Learners must be aged 18 or older. You do not need to belong to an ATA-funded or employer-sponsored programme to buy directly.
3. Before you purchase
Review the product description, included content, prerequisites, technical requirements, language, assessment and certificate requirements before payment. The product page and checkout must display the price in South African rand, applicable tax treatment and any additional charges. Internet connectivity, data and device costs are your responsibility unless expressly included.
Contact ATA before purchasing if you need an accessibility adjustment or assistance deciding whether the online format is suitable. A course purchase does not guarantee a funded programme place, stipend, internship or employment.
4. Payment and confirmation
Payments are processed through PayFast using the payment methods available at checkout. Review and correct your order before paying. An order acknowledgement is not itself proof that your learning access has been activated. Your access notification will explain how to enter TalentLMS and find the purchased learning.
If a payment appears unsuccessful but your account was charged, contact ATA before paying again. Provide your order reference and relevant payment confirmation, but never send passwords, card security codes or one-time passwords. ATA will reconcile payment and access records and investigate any duplicate charge.
5. Delivery within working hours
ATA provides learning access within 2–4 working hours after successful payment is confirmed. Working hours are Monday–Friday, 08:00–16:00 South African time, excluding South African public holidays. Hours outside this period do not count towards delivery time; payments confirmed outside working hours begin processing in the next working period.
Access instructions are sent to the email address supplied with the order. Check your email and spam folders. If access has not arrived within four working hours, contact admin@atatrainingacademy.co.za with your order reference. Do not buy the course again to resolve an access problem.
6. Access periods
Individual skill: 90 days from the learner’s first opening of that purchased skill.
Stage containing five skills: 180 days from the learner’s first opening of learning content in that purchased stage.
Complete Employability Method containing 15 skills: 365 days from the learner’s first opening of learning content in that purchased Method.
The access period begins when you first open the purchased course or bundle, rather than merely logging into your TalentLMS account. Opening any included skill starts the shared access period for a stage or the complete Method. All skills in that purchase share its expiry date; opening another included skill later does not restart the period.
Each separate purchase has its own access period. Access is time-limited and is not lifetime access. The applicable expiry date must be made available to you once your learning period starts. Plan to finish learning and assessments within that period. Contact ATA before expiry if you need additional time; any extension must be expressly agreed, subject to your applicable rights.
7. Accounts progress and certificates
A standard purchase provides access for one named learner unless the offer expressly states otherwise. Use accurate learner details and keep your login secure. Do not share, resell or transfer your access without ATA’s written agreement.
Completion requires the activities and assessments specified for the purchased learning. Paying for a course does not automatically earn a certificate. The product description must state the completion requirements and type of certificate offered. Do not represent an ATA completion certificate as an accredited qualification unless that specific programme is expressly identified and verified as such.
Buying a stage or the complete Method does not automatically credit an earlier skill purchase, transfer assessment results or extend an earlier access period. Contact ATA before buying overlapping products so that any available upgrade, credit or progress-transfer arrangement can be confirmed in writing.
8. Learner support
Email admin@atatrainingacademy.co.za or call (065) 752-9651. Support is available Monday–Friday, 08:00–16:00 South African time, excluding South African public holidays. Messages received outside these hours are attended to during the next working period.
For an access problem, provide your name, order reference, the affected course and a brief description of what happened. A screenshot can help, but remove sensitive information. Support covers ATA’s enrolment and learning-access service; individual tutoring or live facilitation is included only where the product expressly provides it.
9. Delivery problems changes and refunds
If you receive the wrong course, cannot access purchased content, or experience a material interruption, notify ATA promptly. We will investigate and address the problem through the appropriate correction, restoration of access, reasonable extension or other remedy. Applicable rights concerning deficient service and non-delivery remain available.
ATA may improve content without materially reducing what you purchased. If an essential component cannot be supplied, we will explain your options and the applicable remedy. We will not impose a materially different replacement without your agreement or require store credit where a refund is due. Cancellations and refund requests are handled under ATA’s Returns, Refunds and Cancellations Policy and applicable law.
